Robert F. Sappio Chief Executive Officer
Robert F. Sappio is Chief Executive Officer of SeaCube Container Leasing Limited, one of the largest operating lessors of containers in the world. Mr. Sappio joined SeaCube in 2014 as Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to his current position in June 2017. Prior to SeaCube, Mr. Sappio held positions as President of the Americas Region for Rickmers-Linie and Managing Director for Alvarez & Marsal. Prior to Alvarez & Marsal, Mr. Sappio spent nearly 30 years at APL, Ltd. serving most recently as Senior Vice President where he was responsible for all of APL’s commercial activities in the Trans Pacific, Trans-Atlantic and Latin American regions.
David F. Doorley Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
David F. Doorley became our SVP & Chief Financial Officer in August 2018. Prior to this promotion, Mr. Doorley served as SeaCube’s Treasurer and Vice President of Investor Relations since 2010. A long time SeaCube employee, David started as a Cash Manager with the organization in 2000, when the company operated under the name of Carlisle Leasing LLC. Mr. Doorley held various roles in treasury before being named as Vice President, Treasurer in 2007, adding Investor Relations responsibilities in 2010. During Dave’s tenure at SeaCube he has distinguished himself as a member of the senior management team responsible for financial planning, funding strategy and capital structure, all areas in which he has excelled. Before joining SeaCube, Mr. Doorley enjoyed a 17-year career in various accounting and treasury functions, including serving as Corporate Treasurer for Alstom USA, Inc. He holds a BS Business Administration/Finance from Mercy College and is a member of the Association of Financial Professionals.
David Doorley
Sara Marino SVP, General Counsel
Sara Marino joined the Company in 2018 as Associate General Counsel and was promoted to SVP, General Counsel in 2024. Prior to this, Ms. Marino practiced as International Counsel for Disan, a boutique international law firm, between 2015 and 2018. In Spain Ms. Marino worked as in-house counsel for Repsol, a multinational energy company, since 2001 through to 2013 advising the International Commerce and Maritime Trading division, and as Head counsel for the Industrial and Refining division. Ms. Marino obtained her law degree in the UAM in Madrid, and LL.M. degrees from IE Law School in Madrid and Pace Law School in New York. She is a member of the bars of New York and Spain.
James Armstrong Senior Vice President, Emerging Business

James Armstrong is a globally recognized transportation and logistics executive, who currently serves as Senior Vice President of Emerging Business at SeaCube Cold Solutions, where he is responsible for the scale-up of the company’s portable cold storage business. These services are designed to meet the needs of end-users in diverse sectors, including grocery stores, food & beverage, restaurants, and more.

Throughout his career, James has demonstrated a proven track record of success in delivering solutions that improve operational efficiency and business growth, launching start-up ventures, and driving organizational performance. He has held senior leadership roles at some of the world’s most renowned logistics companies, including Maersk, Yusen, TOTE, and Hub Group.

Benjamin Thomas Vice President, Treasurer
Benjamin G. Thomas joined SeaCube in 2019 and is Vice President, Treasurer. Mr. Thomas is responsible for global capital funding, treasury operations, and credit & collections. Prior to joining SeaCube, Mr. Thomas held various treasury and financial service roles with Avis Budget Group, RBC Capital Markets, and Scotiabank.  Mr. Thomas is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Salvatore Narciso Vice President, Head of Technology
Salvatore Narciso joined SeaCube as Senior Director of IT in 2018, responsible for all facets of technology for the firm. Prior to joining SeaCube, Mr. Narciso spent 4 years as Chief Operating Officer at Autonomic Controls Inc., a cloud-based digital audio startup, responsible for core infrastructure as well as the head of business operations at the firm. Mr. Narciso enjoyed 19 years in financial services, holding various positions including Chief Technology Officer for Cutwater Asset Management, a large fixed income asset manager and Director of IT Architecture and Engineering for MBIA Insurance. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree from Marist College in Management Information Systems and in 2014 gained cybersecurity designation as a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
Salvatore Narciso
Jorge Dias Vice President, Operations
Jorge Dias was appointed Vice President of Operations & Procurement in 2024, after joining the company in October 2017 as Senior Director of Global Depot Operations. He brings over 27 years of industry experience, with a strong background in operations, technical support, equipment maintenance, and inventory control/logistics for a leading container leasing company. Before joining SeaCube, Mr. Dias spent 20 years at Textainer Equipment Management, where he held several leadership roles, including Director of Operations for the Americas, Corporate Operations Director overseeing Global Depot Operations, and I.T. Infrastructure Manager for the Americas.
Matthew Salmi Vice President, Marketing & Commercial Strategy

Matthew Salmi joined SeaCube in 2025 as Vice President of Marketing and Commercial Strategy, bringing a wealth of leadership experience and strategic insight. In this role, he spearheads SeaCube’s marketing initiatives, driving innovation and delivering differentiated solutions that align with the evolving needs of customers.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Salmi served as a commissioned officer in the US Army, and later in product management roles at General Electric Renewable Energy. Mr. Salmi holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Alex Sawyer Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis

Alex Sawyer joined SeaCube as the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis in 2020 and is responsible for the budgeting, short-term and long-range planning, and management reporting functions for the firm.  Prior to joining SeaCube, Mr. Sawyer enjoyed a 20+ year career holding various management positions in financial and strategic planning functions, in the financial services and information technology industries. Most recently, he served as the Business Unit CFO for the Corporate Center functions at Gartner. He holds a BA in Economics from Miami University and an MBA in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

Kristen Rose McMann Director, Global Human Resources

Kristen Rose McMann joined the company in February 2021 as Director, Global Human Resources. Kristen has over 15 years of experience in HR, working for fortune 500 companies in fashion, electronics, banking, and beauty. She has experience in areas of HR including benefits, payroll, training/development, compensation, and recruitment. Kristen holds an MBA majoring in nonprofit law and business, along with two certifications in Professional Human Resources (PHR) and Society Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP).

John J. Colabello Senior Advisor, Operations
Mr. Colabello had joined the company in 1999 as the Director of Operations and was named Vice President of Operations in 2003. He has over 33 years of experience in the transportation industry. He has held senior positions in the areas of operations, technical support, equipment maintenance, and inventory control/logistics for major shipping lines. The initial 22 years of his career were associated with ocean carriers and/or their agency representation. Mr. Colabello received his B.S degree from the State University New York Maritime College in 1977. In addition to his degree, Mr. Colabello had also received his USCG Merchant Mariner’s License (3rd Mate) and was commissioned in the U.S. Naval Reserve (1977 – 1984).

Kendrick Ko Vice President, Asia Pacific
Kendrick Ko, based in Hong Kong joined Carlisle Leasing International in 1996 as Director of Sales and Marketing – Asia. Mr Ko was promoted to Regional Vice President – Asia Pacific in 1998 (later on the company name changed to Seacastle Container Leasing). Prior to that, Mr. Ko was working in Trans Ocean Limited and leading the sales and marketing activities in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong from 1992 through 1995. Mr. Ko has over 18 years experience in the container leasing industry. Mr. Ko is a graduate of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Business Studies and a graduate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK.

Frank Roovers Vice President, Europe and Middle East
Frank Roovers became our Vice President for Europe in 2004 after working as Sales Director since 2000. Prior to that Mr. Roovers worked for Trans America leasing, based in US and Europe, covering North and South America as well as Europe. Mr. Roovers started working in the Maritime Industry in 1988, where he worked for Carrier Transicold for both the Container as well as the Truck & Trailer segments.

Gregory Bostwick Vice President, The Americas
Gregory Bostwick joined the Company in 2007 as a Manager of Business Planning & Development. Mr. Bostwick received promotions in 2011 and 2013 as Director and then Vice President of Business Planning & Development. In 2016, Mr. Bostwick transitioned to Vice President for North America. Mr. Bostwick has 10+ years of experience in the container leasing industry. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Bostwick held various analytical positions supporting the Sales team for MSCI Barra and First Data/Wells Fargo Alliance.

Greg Bostwick
Danny den Boer Vice President, Container Sales & Trading

Danny joined SeaCube as sales manager for the EMEA region in 2017. In August 2021 Danny was promoted to the director’s position to lead the global Sales & Trading activities. Before joining SeaCube, Danny was with Smith Group Companies and held various positions including roles in EMEA Reefer Sales and leasing. Danny started his career in 2005 with Maersk where he was hired for depot operations and was then promoted in 2008 to Container Sales Representative. Before starting his career with Maersk, Danny attended the Shipping & Transportation University in Rotterdam and holds a bachelor’s degree in management in Port Management and Logistics.
